Crush

Step into the emotional battlefield of Crush, a strategic card game where crushing hearts is just another way to win! Choose your character from six unique personalities, each equipped with their own special ability to outmaneuver opponents and steal the spotlight. 

Will you become the master of manipulation, or will your own heart end up in pieces?

Objective: Be the last player standing by strategically using actions to break opponents' hearts.

Components:

• Character Cards: Rose, Lily, Basil, Heath, Holly, Sage (3 cards each)
• Hearts: Currency in the game (60 cards)
• Support Cards: Show each character’s abilities (At least 1)

Setup: Each player starts with two Character Cards (face down) and two Heart cards. The remaining Hearts form a bank.

Gameplay: On each turn, players choose one action:

• Character Actions (require specific Character Cards):
  • Heartache: Pay 5 Hearts to break a heart.
  • Attention-Seeker: Take 2 Hearts from another player.
  • Center of Attention: Take 3 Hearts from the bank.
  • Faker: Exchange one Character Card with the deck.
  • Copycat: Swap one Character Card with another player's.
• Basic Actions (don’t require specific Character Cards):
  • Flirt: Take 1 Heart from the bank.
  • Secret Admirer: Take 2 Hearts from the bank.
  • Heartbreak: Pay 10 Hearts to break a heart.

Counteractions: Some characters counter specific actions:

• Rose blocks Copycat
• Lily nullifies Heartache Block
• Basil blocks Secret Admirer
• Heath blocks Attention-Seeker
• Sage blocks Heartache

Challenges: Players may challenge Character Actions. If challenged, the player must reveal the card or lose one. If proven, the challenger loses a card.

Endgame: The last player remaining wins.
